It’s been a whirlwind of a year for me and I’m sure many others. Some colleagues have lost their jobs, some of us are in new positions and many of us are doing more work with less people. As an organization we’ve welcomed new members and sadly said farewell to other colleagues. It’s been tough, exciting, stressful, and I hope for many of you very rewarding… I know it has been for me!
Let’s take a moment to reflect on our industries successes and our members’ hard work. I want to thank all of our members that have volunteered this year. I know it’s not easy to juggle work, personal life and MPI projects and I thank you for your commitment. Because of you the MPI Oregon Chapter remains strong.
My hope for the upcoming year is to engage every member that wants to get involved. Your participation in MPI-OC will help facilitate our growth and in turn bring you the skills you need to excel in your career and your life. I’m looking forward to the opportunities that will be presented this upcoming year, the relationships that will be built and the knowledge that will be gained!
